The 11th IAEE European Conference “Energy Economy, Policies and Supply Security: Surviving the
Global Economic Crisis” will provide excellent opportunity to present and discuss the results of newest
studies preformed in such exceptional circumstances.

Energy Economics and Energy Policy , Energy policy is the approach in which a given entity (often governmental) has decided to address issues of energy development including energy consumption, production and distribution. The attributes of energy policy may include legislation, international exposition, incentives to investment, and guidelines for energy conservation, taxation and other public policy techniques.

a worldwide non-profit professional organization based in the United States, which has members in over 100 nations, who strive to provide an interdisciplinary forum for the exchange of ideas, experience and issues among professionals interested in energy economics. We actively seek those who are interested in energy economics and those who shape opinions and prepare for events which effect the energy industry.

As our main objective we want to provide for the mutual association of persons interested in energy economics in order to create a forum for professional, multinational discussion and to provide a means of professional communication and exchange for these persons. To achieve this goal, we publish three periodicals. "The Energy Journal" is a quarterly, academic publication available to all members. The "Economics of Energy & Environmental Policy" is a semi annual publication also available to all members. Both of these publications may be purchased by non-members through our site. The IAEE Energy Forum (newsletter) delivers the latest information on the association, and contains articles that appeal to a general audience interested in the energy field. Both of these publications can be reviewed in greater detail in our publications section.

We explore the role of China's changing regional development patterns in reducing carbon emissions.
• Seven socioeconomic drivers of the changes in CO2 emissions in China for 2000–2016 are estimated. China's carbon emissions have plateaued because of energy efficiency gains and structural upgrading. The effects of these drivers on emissions changes varied across regions. Regional structure has drastically reduced CO2 emissions since 2012.

There is currently much discussion in China about anti-corruption, optimization of the allocation of resources, and ecological protection. This study considers data from 2006 to 2015 and uses statistical methods to examine the influence of corruption and resource misallocation on ecological efficiency

The emerging economic understandings of the energy infrastructure motivate conceptual and methodological innovations in the social sciences, which this paper pursues.
