  • Energy Demand: this is the term used to describe the consumption of energy by human activity. It drives the whole energy system, influencing the total amount of energy used; the location of, and types of fuel used in the energy supply system; and the characteristics of the end-use technologies that consume energy.  
  • DisaggregateA division or breaking up into constituent parts, particularly the analytic disassembly of categories which have been aggregated or lumped together.
  •  Demand Forecasting: the process in which historical sales data is used to develop an estimate of an expected forecast of customer demand. To businesses, Demand Forecasting provides an estimate of the amount of goods and services that its customers will purchase in the foreseeable future.
